We are excited to announce several openings on the Condit PTO Board for the 2026-2027 school year.

Serving on the PTO Board means joining a dynamic, effective group of parents who are passionate about Condit and committed to making a positive impact. Together, we support students, faculty & staff, build community, and turn great ideas into meaningful action through teamwork, collaboration, and shared purpose….all while having fun along the way!

Please note that all nominees must be in good standing with the Condit PTO.

President-Elect: receives training by the President on all duties for the purpose of learning the President position, assists the President as needed and takes on the duties of President if they are absent or unable to perform their job. To be eligible, you must have served one previous term on the PTO Board.

Treasurer-Elect: receives training by the Treasurer on all duties for the purpose of learning the Treasurer position, assists the Treasurer as needed and takes on the duties of Treasurer if they are absent or unable to perform their job.

Vice President of Finance (Family): develops fundraising goals, strategy and coordinates family & friends annual giving for The Condit Giving Tree (Family), maintains contact with chairs of the committees designated under them on the PTO Org Chart to monitor and guide their efforts.

Vice President of External Communication & Student Activities: responsible for promoting the school to the local media; oversees committees related to student activities, including but not limited to UIL, Art Car, Chicken Coop, Yearbook and more. Refer to the PTO Org Chart for a complete list of committees.

Vice President of School Services & Support: keep the minutes of the Condit PTO and of the PTO Board; oversees school-related support committees, including but not limited to Celebration Helpers, School Store, Hospitality, Meet the Teacher and more. Refer to the PTO Org Chart for a complete list of committees.

Shared Decision Making Committee (SDMC): provides an opportunity for school, staff and community leaders to meet monthly (or as otherwise deemed appropriate) in order to assist in the development of school policies and programs. Note: This position is not part of the PTO Board. 1 spot available.

Nominating Committee (two spots available): members of this committee must be PTO members not interested in joining the 2026-2027 PTO Board. The Nominating Committee will work to source and review nominations and form the 2026-2027 slate.

 

The Nominating Committee will begin its work in early February and will announce the proposed slate for the 2026–2027 PTO Board and SDMC positions at the PTO meeting on March 20.
